About this place
At lunchtime, Yaruki’s keema-and-mutton combo lets diners compare two curries on one plate. The chicken keema is light, while the mutton curry is more substantial, with generous pieces of lamb; some diners say tasting them alternately brings out the contrast. The set comes with a fried egg, salad and miso soup, and reviews describe enjoying it with turmeric rice. Those who prefer one curry can choose the keema curry set or the mutton curry set for a straightforward lunch built around curry.
In the evening, spice also finds its way into the izakaya-style dishes. Spicy oden is served with items such as chikuwa fish cake, daikon, egg and satsuma-age fish cake; one diner remarked on the spices in the broth. Other options include curry-flavoured fried udon and a set meal of fried chicken seasoned with spices. It’s possible to opt for curry at lunch and familiar pub-style dishes with a spicy twist in the evening.
Lunch is served Tuesday to Friday from 11:30 to 14:30. Evening hours are Monday to Friday, 17:00 to 23:00, and Saturday, 16:00 to 23:00.
